  • Biography
Through my landscape-based and still life paintings, I explore the interplay between personal experience and compositional techniques. I enjoy simplifying the shapes of my subjects to create an abstract representation, while also considering the surfaces I paint on.

My recent work has focused on exploring the idea of interior landscapes. These paintings are primarily based on observation, with a focus on using expressive brushstrokes to create a sense of depth and atmosphere.

I often leave areas of the canvas blank, allowing the material of the surface to complete the composition. In some works, I paint over previous paintings, deliberately leaving traces of the past to add texture and history to the current piece.

This process of layering and revealing creates a unique visual narrative that invites the viewer to contemplate the construction and evolution of the work.
