How do I become a member of VAS?

HOW DO I BECOME A VAS MEMBER?

If you are interested in joining VAS, the first step is to email members@visualartsscotland.org with the subject heading "NEW VAS MEMBER" and we will guide you through the process of setting up your membership and processeing your payment. We welcome membership throughout the year and look forward to hearing from you. 

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO BECOME A MEMBER?

Our membership runs for a full year from the moment you make your payment. Prices are as follows:

* Associate Member (£24) - this is for students and recent graduates.

* Ordinary Member (£40) - this is for artists.

* Professional Member (£54) - this is for professional artists. ***You must be nominated by current VAS members to become a Professional member***

WHY SHOULD I BECOME A MEMBER?

Submissions are now open for an amazing opportunity taking place at Dalkeith Palace this August (2024). It is free for VAS members to submit 5 pieces of artwork to this exhibition. If you do not have a VAS membership, you are still able to apply but the cost to sumbit five pieces is £75 (£15 per submission). VAS members also get the exclusive opportunity to sell their artwork during this exhibition as part of the exhibition shop and the 30x30 showcase. Non-members do not get this benefit.
