I was born a ‘creative’ with an imagination that has created other worlds through both the written word and the visual. Although I wish I had the opportunity to develop my passion for creating art as a young person I cannot ignore the life-experiences that have formed my present love of landscape and nature. Born in North Lanarkshire, I spent many years raising four daughters in Oxfordshire before moving to East Anglia. I returned home to Scotland in 2014.

It has always been the land that has inspired me: the sleepy traditional chocolate-box country villages of Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds; the huge skies of East Anglia; the drama of the glens, lochs and mountains of Scotland. I have the advantage of living and working in Kirriemuir - the gateway to the Angus Glens.

I am a professional artist working mainly in oils and acrylics, although I do enjoy using a wide variety of other mediums. I am also the Director and Resident Artist of Ainetheon Arts Ltd in Kirriemuir, curating a small independent gallery and promoting several other artists, mainly Scottish or a connection to Scotland.
