  • Biography
My interest in drawing developed on summer holidays with grandparents. After this encouragement was forthcoming and drawing became both a regular and spontaneous activity. The subject matter could be whatever attracted my eye. I drew mountains of grandeur, scale, physicality, remnants of past geological action or other peaks with moods expressed in colours like russets and blues.. Later in life my work developed hybrids with less definition and more spatial and tonal abstracted elements.
