Ewa’s conceptual artwork work is influenced by her Polish upbringing and socio-political issues. In her installations and oil and mixed media paintings she explores the human condition within the contemporary world, and her jewellery pieces are frequently influenced by brutalist architecture and minimalism. Ewa works mainly with silver but often incorporates enamel and stone setting into her jewellery pieces.
In May 2018, Ewa gained a First Class Honours Degree in Fine Art from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design, Dundee, and her Degree Show exhibition was shortlisted for the VAS Graduates' Show. That inspired Ewa to take up a few short courses in slip casting at Glasgow Sculpture Studios before she enrolled on a course in jewellery making. In 2022 she graduated with an HND in Jewellery Design and Manufacture from Glasgow Kelvin College and since then she has been working on developing her jewellery and silversmithing skills. This year, one of Ewa's jewellery pieces, a silver broach, has been selected to be part of the Visual Arts Scotland Centenary Show at Dalkieth Palace.
