  • Biography
I began worked as a an in house artist for a Company selling thimbles and trinkets for twenty years.
Now I paint buildings and architecture mostly of Edinburgh because I have a keen interest in the history of the old town. Another interest of mine is the beautiful scenery of the Scottish Borders where some of my relatives belong. Again I am also interested in its local history. My media involves using handmade papers and watercolour paints with genuine stone in the medium such as tigers eye, bloodstone, hematite etc. These create interesting textures.
At the moment I am displaying my works in a few art Galleries in the Midlothians and the Scottish Borders and Lanarkshire.
