Lucy Caster

I am a print and textile artist living and practicing in Edinburgh. I graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone in 2018 after studying Textile Design and have since been developing a body of print and textile work inspired by urban and industrial landscapes. My work often takes inspiration from urban city scenes and I particularly enjoy drawing from construction sites, as I love the repetitive marks and textures they can provoke. My work focuses on pattern, shape and colour, picking out interesting details in these busy scenes.
