I graduated from Grays School of Art Aberdeen, in Weaving and Silkscreen printing.
Then I taught art until having my children.
After raising them I worked in Stained Glass as I love the pure colour it gives. Then I moved on to painting in watercolour and in oils, which is my main medium.
I would describe my work as semi-abstract landscape painting with an emphasis on colour and changing light on the landscape.
I usually work from watercolour or pastel sketches in the real landscape then develop that in the studio in oils.
I have a degree in Art, and a degree in Education
I have previously exhibited in Peebles in the Scottish Borders and Pittenweem, Fife.
