I love to be out in the weather in Edinburgh and East Lothian. The landscape and seascape paintings and sketches from my work outside form the basis for my studio and print practice.
I am a member of Edinburgh Printmakers where I work as a screen printer on small editions.
And in the long summer evenings I seek out the dramatic architecture of Edinburgh to sketch and paint the light.

I was a designer for forty five years and now I call myself an artist.
My watercolours and prints are on show in Edinburgh at Marchmont Gallery and Edinburgh Printmakers. I had a show at The Royal Commonwealth Pool in 2018. Two shows in Detour Espresso 2022 and 2023 plus a solo collaborative show at Atria One with Edinburgh Printmakers in 2023 and three years in the annual EP members' show
