I worked hard to become a researcher, scientist and engineer, I hold a PhD (2012) Ultimately, to obtain a PhD in Engineering was a creative act. I sketch, play around with materials, rearrange, reinterpret, innovate, mix reality around me. In recent years, after some scholarly and live achievements, I shifted my energy to produce artworks that I can share meaningfully, that can communicate key messages and life experience, as I am going through it. So here I am, Paula Vera Bloom, the artist. I established an arts studio on the pacific ocean, and a home in Edinburgh. I am in between worlds.
