I use a mix of digital and analogue photography, cyanotype, collage and written word to explore connections - to self, to others, to nature and to the present moment.
While I've been a full time commercial photographer for over a decade, I also use creative play mostly through photographic techniques as a way to process difficult experiences like abuse and medical trauma and to explore my new-ish found knowledge of my neurodivergence.
Recent work includes a series of digital self portraits, some quiet black and white film self portrait nudes and always work using various cameras and alternative processing techniques using the seascape and beach by my home in Edinburgh.
I studied photography at Edinburgh College and have a BA (Hons) degree from Napier University.
Recent exhibitions include Art Walk Portobello (Sept 2024), NOW LOVE; a solo photographic exhibition at Agitate Gallery (Feb-Mar 2024), various group resident exhibitions at my studio, Out of the Blue Drill Hall including HOME: A Residents' Showcase which I organised and curated. I've also featured this year in group shows at Sett Studios in Leith and International Photography Gallery in Glasgow. I've also had work published by Spilt Milk Gallery, the Delicate Rebellion and by Zya Community.
