MEET THE ARTIST

My work explores the landscape through the lens of contemporary society drawing away from traditional representations, focusing on the female perception of the landscape in a genre that is often male dominated. By working with pre fabricated industrial materials my work moves away from the idea of craft creating contemporary sound based installations that translate exterior landscapes into alternate spaces. These works are accompanied by humorous text that questions our understanding and relation to the environment.
