Borders Art Fair

The Borders Art Fair is fast approaching and we're excited to announce that VAS will have a stand at this year's Fair to showcase our members' work. 

VAS are looking to present a small collection of framed wall works, alongside several sculptures/objects on plinths at the Fair and we encourage applications from VAS Members. If you wish to apply, please submit a PDF to admin@visualartsscotland.org with the information below:

- Artist Statement (500 words)

- CV

- Proposed Pieces (inlcuding images, no more than 3 works) Workds must not exceed 1m x 1m. If you are submitting a piece that is larger than 30x30 then please contact the admin team as soon as possible.

Please ensure that your subject heading is “Borders Art Fair 2024.” Note that framed works need to have wire/string or ring hooks to be exhibition ready.

Deadline: Midnight > 23rd February.

Works must be delivered to the VAS stand at the Borders Art Fair on Wednesday 13th March between 10am - 3 pm, or to Edinburgh (Royal Scottish Academy- back door) on the 14th March between 10am - 11am. We will also be selecting a collection of 30 x 30 from the Centenary Show and we will take these to the Borders Art Fair too. If you do not wish for your work to be considered for Borders Art Fair please let us know this in your submission and at the RSA drop off.
