I am an artist/musician working from Fife in Scotland.
I work primarily in Acrylic and Oil/Cold-Wax-Medium
My artistic influences include Edward Dugmore, Otakar Kubín, Emil Nolde.
My musical influences include Brian Eno, Halftribe and Olafur Arnalds.

As a self-taught artist and musician, formerly an engineer, I find the practical solution focus of engineering complements how I execute an artistic and musical idea into a creation.

I aim for my artwork to give an immediate strong, simple, visual impact, which upon further evaluation starts to unveil new insights. When I compose music, I strongly associate this concept with a hook in a song, which does the same thing audibly.
In 2019 my work ‘Onward’ was selected for The Royal Scottish Academy Annual Exhibition – Open Art, where it won the Muirhead Fund Prize and was bought by the RSA. It can be seen in the RSA collections.

In 2020 my work ‘Family at the Beach’ was selected as Highly Commended at the Fife Art 2020 Open Artist Exhibition.

In 2022 my work ‘Edinburgh Summer Sunset’ was selected for a Curator’s Award in the 2022 ‘Impressions of Home’ competition run by the Art Preservation Initiative.

In 2023 my solo exhibition ‘Sonic Visions’ gained critical acclaim for its concept of QR coded musical compositions accompanying each artwork on show

In 2024 my debut album ‘Autumn Thoughts’ released on all major streaming services.
