My still life photography is a celebration of the strength, resilience, and quiet courage that often accompanies life's difficult journeys. I believe that art has the power to heal, offer comfort, and inspire hope, especially during times of struggle.
Through powerful composition and symbolism I explore themes of recovery, transformation, and emotional growth. My intention is to provide a visual language for feelings that are often difficult to express, allowing viewers to connect with the work on a deeply personal level.
Eggs & nests represent nurture, home & safety
Skeletal leaves represent fragility and strength - The beauty of transformation & regeneration
Vessels represent our capacity to carry emotional weight.
Damaged vessels represent breaking and rebuilding. A metaphor for healing. A broken glass creates more beautiful, complex structures.
Fragile glass vessels precariously stacked one on top of the other. These glass structures are unique bold creations symbolising something new and beautiful has been created from layers of fragility.
