I use drawing as a ritual throughout my daily life to understand, express and process my experiences. Recently, I’ve felt called to engage with nature and its sense of magic, knowledge and power. My art is how I re-establish the bonds that unite me with nature.
Gosia Walton (b. Legnica, Poland. 1982) currently lives and works in Edinburgh, Scotland. She received her BA in Interior Architecture at the Edinburgh College of Art and Master in Fine Art in Contemporary Art Practice also from Edinburgh University. She had her a solo show Prelude (Edinburgh, Scotland) and her work has been included in CONVERGE at Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art (Edinburgh, Scotland). In early 2017 she presented her work in a solo show at Galerie Pact, Paris. She opened her first solo show in Legnica, Poland in August 2018.
