The work I produce combines this diversity of research, blending factual and fictional material, to create new visual and written narratives. My current work explores the erasure of sexual publics caused by the ubiquity of social media platforms and queer acceptance of heteronormative privacy. Through the parody of a domestic craft methodology, 'painting by numbers', stills from digital films are repurposed as contemporary landscape drawings and paintings but are left incomplete: the sex act, the human element is absent from the context.
